The Vienna Tourist Board is the official destination marketing and management organization for the City of Vienna. THE VTB organized for two consecutive years (2012-2103) a campaign in Barcelona that was divided into three parts. The first based on the creation of a giant sand sculpture, accompanied by a tourist information point that was based on Barceloneta’s beach for a week. The second, the development of an outdoor press conference with the presence of authorities from both cities. And finally the organization of a free live show, with the participation of internationally renowned DJs.
LITW managed the PR campaign that resulted in the attendance of 90 outlets in each press conference, 150 clips, 15 TV and Radio appearances and about 2,000 people attending each event for the promotion of the city's nightclub scene.
