However, we are skeptical of the rise of greenwashing because companies can recycle but also treat their employees poorly, or place sustainable labels on products but fail to disclose the source of their operations. We pay special attention to psychological toxicity and have protocols in place to prevent abusive treatment, internally and with our partners, and in the event that we witness this type of behavior. Our view is that a successful project meets goals, makes people happier and has a minimal impact on the planet.
